    RED RIDING HOOD

I saw the trailer for this tonight, and it was the first I heard of it. Interesting take on an old bedtime story. I kinda want to see it now and hope Hollywood does more of this. What next, Humpty Dumpty? Three Little Pigs?

I saw a preview for this last week and I must admit that I am curious. I love darker versions of fairy tales that most people only know the cutesy or cartoon version of. A lot of those old stories were rather dark.

I was all for it once I heard people talking about it but once I saw something along the lines of "from the Direct of Twilight" on the trailer and watched the rest of the trailer, I lost all of my interest. Looks to be a cheesy Twilight type movie minus the vampires.

While the idea of a darker telling of this and other stories is intriguing, this specific movie looks terrible IMO.

That's what I said out loud when I saw the trailer... well, actually I said 'oh, so now werewolves sparkle' but you get the idea.

This one I'm gonna wait on the reviews before I see it.

Well, the movie's got a babe (Amanda Seyfried) and a great actor (Gary Oldman) so it can't be that bad. I'd still wait for the DVD though.

I noticed that too... she's usually pretty good in the roles she's had so far and we know Gary Oldman is an excellent actor..sooooo maybe.

It looks like a "Darkside" take on the fairy tale.. should be interesting to see what people say that do see it in the theaters... I'll probably wait for OD.

I'm almost sure it's her grandmother.

But I may never know, since I have no interest in this movie. Well, beyond whether or not I'm right, anyway.

Just watching the trailer...and coming to the part that says: "what big eyes you have", how fucking stupid do you have to be to notice the person in front of you is NOT a wolf!? I understood the kids version of the story, but I don't even want to know how they try and get around that. "Why grandma, why are your teeth growing, and your snout getting longer?" Give me a break...

I must have missed that, but again, I saw the trailer and still put 2 and 2 together and got shit.

It wasn't, it was her dad... Yep...

Saw this today, not by choice though. We bought tickets for the Adjustment Bureau, then the reel crapped out, so we asked for a movie exchanged and this crap was the only thing that hadn't already started. So we put it to a vote, I voted for getting the f*ck back to my place for a bbq and video games, but the women in the group outvoted us, so we saw it. There's an hour and some I'll never get back. For those curious, it's ALOT like Twilight. I don't know what time era they're supposed to be in, since they somehow had hair stylists, make-up artists and a moody soundtrack playing everywhere they went.

Finally saw this movie last weekend. I actually quite enjoyed it. Twilight? Don't know, never watched it. It was the story of Twilight that I had no interest in seeing in movie form. This however, had nothing in common with Twilight other than there being werewolves in it.
