I've already posted this in UK sightings but since the toy is so rare I thought a little alert here too wouldn't go amiss.

I've just returned from The Entertainer in Kingston. They had a new wave of Transformers Armada toys in. Armada's been gone from the UK for nearly 2 years now so this has to have been sitting in a warehouse somewhere since then. They had on the shelves 1 x PL Cyclonus, 4 x Armada Airazor with Nightscream (quite rare in herself I believe) and 2 x Red Powerlinx Thrust.

See here for a pic of them sitting on my table.

To the best of my knowledge they'd only been seen in Japan in *very* limited numbers before now.

They were available in Israel as well. A friend of mine picked up a few for me and shipped em to the US.

Red Powerlinx Thrust has also been found in Israel in June of 2004, in European packaging.

Reportedly, he was also available in (parts of) Italy around that time, and in probably the strangest twist ever, he popped up in an Australian (!) toy store in September of 2005, in European packaging no less.

I'll go and have a look myself, but would you pick one of them up for me if you see it Phil? I could do my Ramjet kitbash.

Just have to ask. Are some parts of the world that far behind in the line that Armada sightings is a good thing?

Blast. I hate when rare things turn up in the UK, because they're still a bad deal for us in the States thanks to the terrible exchange rate between the pound and the dollar. But congrats to our British friends for the rare leg up on the US. They're few and far between, unfortunately.

Finally I have complete information ´bout this toys availability...I´m from Portugal and I bought my RED PL Thrust over a year ago at EL Corte Ingles in Lisbon and even at that point I knew the toy was rare and kinda made me think how a rarity like that could exist here in Portugal...

I believe I´m the only collector that still has it Mint...the other TFans here just care ´bout ALT´s/BT´s over G1 let alone ARMADA :banghead:

I always wondered what happened to the red one...the shelves were clogged in my area with the ugly brown one. Always wanted the accurate red one.

Yes, I got mine in September 2004 or around summer in Milan, all shops were full of them. No cds inside, though.
