This reshell is a work in progress.

The lines are tighter, and the overall feel is more solid. The Sunstreaker was my first reshell project.

Red Alert is my third attempt.

    Bot Modes coming soon.

Still a number of things to complete. The front of the car, spoiler to attach and creating his shoulder weapon.

    Thanks for looking.

    Bot mode

    Thanks Scorpinok75 for the comment.

I have updated the head with a new one. Hope you guys like it. Although the 3 Countach is similar base, I decided to make them each different and unique in bot mode. Hope that transpires well.

Nice, but what is the original figure that you have reshelled? Is this an Alternator or what? And if Alternator, which one?
Not sure I like the silver trim on Sideswipe, but I'm loving Red Alert for sure! Awesome work!

Marcatron, thanks for the comments and looking. I used the classics jet fire as a base for red alert. The transforming sequence worked out fantastic. Of course a lot of cutting.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the comments. Marcatron, I will need to see if I have any in backup. My camera died recently so only able to retrieve. Understand you guys like the WIPs.

Basically its the Classics Jetfire. I cut the front of the plane part off and sliced down the chest. Then attached the Countach vehicle front to the chest still giving it the 90 degree rotation. The legs pull up in vehicle mode and the Jetfire is perfect fit under the Countach. Wings of course removed entirely. The arms are changed to using the small Robot Masters Star Saber.

    Hope this helps.

Lotussouljah, thank you. Only one small thing to finish this off and probably a good one to ask Radicons.

I am thinking of painting the windshield and door windows clear red. What do you think or keeping it as it is that its clear without any paint. See the Sunstreaker thread on the red or Sideswipe thread for the clear blue.

    Any opinions welcomed.

I say clear. Having it clear red will only remind me of that episode where Red Alert went berserk. Besides, a clear colour is normal and makes it look clean.

How tall is this Red Alert? What figure does he compare to in size?

Thanks for th e query... I have had a few people ask me this question. This stands as tall as mp seeker or fits in line with the alternator series.

I will take some comparison pics soon. Thanks

Very cool. I hope you plan to give him feet. That's the only thing throwing me off right now. I also say keep the windshield clear. It looks great that way.

Use the binaltech or alternator meister head for red alert,
just remove the visor and you have a very recognizable red alert / sideswipe head.
