Might sound like a silly topic... but any decent guides out there for shipping carded/boxed Transformers efficiently/effectively?

Been meaning to start selling or trading TFs on Junkion Exchange... but it'd be good to hear some advice to ensure packages have lower chances of card bending or damages. Also what shipping would be most recommended, whether it be USPS or Fedex, etc.

    Thanks.

For carded figures, depending on the size of the card and blister, I've found that comic book bags and boards work well to preserve the card backing for GI Joe/Star Wars style packaging

    1) Place figure in comic bag without board, lay flat on table.
    2) Using a pencil, gently trace the outer edge of the blister. This won't mark the plastic but should leave a slight indentation. Be sure to leave enough room for the plastic to cover the card edges closer to the blister.
    3) Remove figure, put somewhere safe, and using an x-acto knife cut out the window you traced on the bag.

***This would be a good time to point out: Always cut on scrap cardboard or a cutting board***

    4) Put figure in the comic bag and position blister through the window you cut
    5) Slide backing board behind card and seal bag with a piece of scotch tape
    6) With the card backing reenforced and protected with plastic, you can now wrap the figure in bubble wrap or packing paper. P

Personally, I find using bubble wrap with one of those air filled plastic bags, or packing paper, to fill the space at the top of the card after bubble wrapping works great.

    Hope that helps!
