Hey guys! I'm looking to buy my next transformers figure and I'm not quite sure what to get. I'm kinda poor so i have to choose which figures i buy wisely. haha. I don't have a specific taste, but preferably something with a "cool" or unique headsculpt, complex/satisfying transformation, fairly poseable, good looking, and most of all... fun! Oh and affordability and availability is definitely a factor as well. (I can't spend hundreds of dollars hunting down some obscure figure). If you guys could help me out, that'd be great.

Figures that i have and found enjoyable so far are:
    TFA deluxe Blurr
    TFTM Premium Bumblebee
    ROTF Leader Prime
.. i don't have a large collection so i can't really give more examples. :(  My friends have recommended TFA Voyager Blitzwing and Classics Jetfire because they think it suits my taste, but i'm not too sure yet. Help would be appreciated!

Also.. side question, Why does everyone love Animated Leader Megs so much? His transformation seems overly simple and doesn't seem like he''s very poseable either. Is it just cuz he's so cartoon accurate and his alt mode is huge? lol. Feel free to correct me

The Classics Starscream mold. I have Acid Storm and Starscream, they are only 11 bucks, and are a lot of fun to Transform and Pose! Head sculpts are good too.

Also Universe Sunstreaker. Love him! Very poseable, looks excellent in both modes, and has a great head sculpt. The Transformation is fun as well.

    Here's some figures out of my collection I'd highly reccomend;

Masterpiece Optimus Prime (It's a bit expenisve but worth every penny)
*Cheapest version is 20th Anniversary DVD Edition which usually is between $60 to $100 on eBay*

    Human Alliance Bumblebee

    Universe/Classics Hound

    Universe/Classics Cyclonus

    ROTF Ransack

I would totally recommend Classics Jetfire. He's not up to snuff on the size I'd care for when it comes to the character, but he's all sorts of awesome be it in jet mode, robot, his design, coloring, etc. I didn't intend to even have him, I'd bought him for my boy when he first came out at retail, but earlier this year my son boxed up some toys he didn't want anymore and said I could do whatever with them (it was a deal we made so he could clear out room for the likes of Sideswipe and Rampage from Revenge of the Fallen), so I nabbed him for myself. Glad I did. He's not much for complexity in transformation, but he's not nearly as simplistic as Universe Silverbolt and the end result looks amazing.

Not sure that I could recommend Blitzwing though. He makes a nice robot mode display piece, but in both his alt modes he's troublesome at staying together. Not much play value in that, if you ask me. He's definitely got some complexity to him, being a mult-parts Triplechanger n'all.

Perhaps something from the Human Alliance lineup might fit fo'ya? Or possibly an Alternator TF if you can get one for a good price, but those tend to be hit or miss with fans entirely. How about one of the Animated Lockdowns?

He's large, great color, better posing ability than I'd thought he'd have, somewhat simplistic transformation but still awesome, you name it. He's hoss.

Universe: Cyclonus or Hound are excellent bets.
    Animated: Blitzwing rocks!
RotF: Ice Cream Twins are fun, HA Bumblebee is awesome, and I really like Mixmaster since I got him nine hours ago.

    Ebay:
    HA bumblebee retail is $30-$35
If you like molds but don't care about characters you can track down a Universe Treadbolt instead of a Jetfire. He was clearance for $10 in a lot of places so he's more affordable.
Acid Storm of the seeker mold is still available at HTS for $10 or BBTS for $8.
Sunstreaker is also the cheaper of the mold as sideswipe seems to be sold out in a lot of places.

Thanks for all the help guys! I think i'll be hunting down a Universe Cyclonus, Hound or Starscream. I'd totally pick up Treadbolt but i just can't stand his paintjob. The ice cream twins are just.. ugly to me. no offence. :x
