    I just bought me a 360 at TRU a few weeks ago. They had a buy a 360, get a $100 dollar giftcard deal I couldn't resist.

So far I've bought a wireless internet adapter, a battery recharger, Madden 07, and Gears of War. That's all great but I'm playing it on a standard TV. The graphics look amazing....but HD makes it even greater.

Can you guys recomend me a TV? I'm looking to spend $500-700 and I want something in the 25"-30" range. Is there anything available? Or do I need to spend more??

I have a 27 in ViewSonic hd tv that I love with my 360. I'd recommend that, although check fatwallet.com for some smoking HD tv deals.

I have a 37" Dell LCD HDTV and the graphics are great, playing GOW and NFS on it is killer :rock

The prices are much better in the US than in Canada, so i'm sure you can find a good tv at your price range. Good luck man and congrats on the new purchase.

I'd suggest Samsung - you *might* have to budget for a couple of hundred more, many seem to think they offer good value and reliablity too.

I picked up a Samsung last week, it is -well- worth the money. Definitely the best quality LCD HD TV on the market right now.

I am currently using a 19" LCD monitor, and it looks sweet playing some GOW!

I am looking into a Sharp Aquois 52" 1080P LCD.

just stay with the big names - you get what you pay for. Samsung, Sony and Philips are the main ones. Pioneer and Panasonic for larger plasmas.

    I agree.
Personally, I have a DLP. But if you want an LCD, you might want to go up in price a little bit and get a Samsung or even a Sharp Aquos. Both are good products.
If you can wait until you have the money you will find it well worth it.

Watch out on getting a "no name" brand.
They might not have enough inputs and they might not offer resolution beyond 720p.
I hardly notice a difference between 1080i and 1080p, but I do see the difference between 720p and 1080whatever.

Also, LCDs can have difficulty displaying black on black –although this is not quite the problem it used to be.
GoW has some very dark levels. If you can, get the store to demo a movie like Blade or Aliens and see if you like the image quality. Better yet, get them to demo GoW. :thumb

I've got a 32" Samsung LCD, the same ones Microsoft used on all of their display units (unknowingly). It looks great with the 360 and PS3, not to mention HD-DVD and Blu-Ray discs. I've been extremely pleased with it so far, and I'll probably be in the market for another Samsung in the future.

I trust a consumer about as far as I can throw them. I dragged my 360 to the store and tried it out on everything in my budget. They all blew so I took the plunge and went up a little and the Samsungs blew -everything- else away at that pricepoint for both DVD and Gaming.

Wow, thanks guys. Looks like Samsung is the man right now... I guess I'm just going to have to spend a little more. But, I did want a Samsung to begin with. I saw some nice ones at Best Buy.

Hey anybody have an LG? I've heard good things about those too.
