With all that said, I would like to clarify that the blogs are still optional. Anything I said, was just a suggestion, and by no means a rule. I guess its just how I'd do it.

I'd say they are optional until people start recommending to use it. ;)

    Thank you Fresh & Razerwire

Now if it was explained to me LIKE THAT instead of just a staffer/member just saying "Next Time put it in a blog" it would've saved A LOT of strife.I mean telling me "put it in a blog" really doesn't help me understand the why.

But now I understand, thus I'll be more mindful in the future :)

I say just bump up the old thread if it's the same topic. That way we can be updated in the one place.

    Pony Corral seems decent

    Had my orientation yesterday

It seems like it'd be a decent place to work,I'd be making $7.65+3% on the tip pool. And the 3% IIRC would be cash.So that's already a step up from McD's as the isn't a tip pool.Hours haven't been established yet as the restaurant isn't set to open till the end of May(IIRC the 25th)

Dad thinks I could do SO much better. And that's DEFINATELY true.HOWEVER it's not like I have places just offering me $30K+ salaried jobs. And it's not like I'd be JUST a dishwasher. At Pony Corral you have servers trained as bartenders, bartenders trained as expeditors.Reason is that so NO ONE thinks they're irreplaceable & gets arrogant. So I might be a dishwasher now,but who's to say I won't be also trained as a line cook or other kitchen duties(Sorry never worked in a Fine Dining restaurant so I'm not familiar with any related postitions other then Line Cook and Dishwasher) Anyone familiar with NBC's The Restaurant? That's the kind of work environment I'd like. And who's to say I won't be promoted.

And besides I love people who make comments like that.I usually reply "Oh do you have a $30-40K job you'd like to offer me.Although like I said I'm not mad at dad.Just that he could phrase it A LOT better and nicer if you know what I mean

I've already made a connection with someone too. This guy named Jesse will be working there. And apparantly he and I went to the same elementary school together. We played marbles together at recess.I was surprised he recognized me straight away even after nearly 20 years.I was so embarased as he remebered me but I didn't.I know he's legit too because 1)He knew my name w/o me introducing myself and 2)Named the EXACT school we went too.

Cograts dude! :thumb  Dishwashing is hardly glamorus work, but it's easy enough and pays the bills.
