Reason for movie designs?

    Don't know if it was posted here before. Seriously, if I was told about this 6 months ago, it would have saved me A LOT of stupid arguments and useless discussion. That's something I can accept behind these: MONEY.

    Well, if Rich Jonston posted it, then it must be true right?

    Could it be that Hasbro\Paramount\Michael Bay wanted to update the designs for a wider audience?

    I bought the Cybertron line and I bought Classics -similar design paradigms yet unrelated canon.
    By this logic, the movie designs had to look drastically different because otherwise I will not buy Transformers: Heroes toys.

    What and also ever.
