All those breaks!!!!!
Seriously, why they do this?
So they can make a good show that isn't rushed and has a ton of errors?
Or maybe they just want to drag out the first season so the finale's character influx coincides with the toyline.
I guess it prolongs the first season long enough that it doesn't feel like the break between seasons is too long. I'd rather have a new episode every 1-4 weeks with a two-month break between seasons than airing one or two new ones every week, then waiting 6 months to see the next season start.
then wait on the premiere instead of the breaks, rushing it isn't an excuse for all these breaks if you needs this much of a break in between shows wait on the season start date then
because theyre not rushing it.
Honestly, it was slightly annoying at first, but I'm perfectly fine with the breaks now. Helps build up the anticipation for the next episode. Also, I'd rather them span it about a bit. That way the wait between the end of Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 will be much shorter than if they didn't break it up at all.
Probably helps that I'm usually a very patient person, lol.
I'm not sick of teh breaks, I'm just not that into teh show anymore.
Actually I should thank the breaks. Now that the eagerness of each new episode is removed, I'm finding it's actually kind of a boring show.
The long breaks between the eps are a turn off for the show
You're all forgetting the sheer amount of work that goes into CGI. For the show to mantain its beautiful animation quality, time must be sacrificed.
But that's under the assumption that they air each epsiode as it's finished. They don't. They work on a block of epsiodes at a time and only air them once they're all completed to avoid breaks.
These breaks are simply to do with the programming, not with the show's production. (which apparently took ten months when a show like this usually takes two years)
For anyone complaining about the breaks, look at it this way:
Would you rather have multiple seasons with a few multi-week breaks after a handful of episodes or would you rather have one constant season and then not see anything new until 2013 ala Renegades?
Personally, I'd go with the former.
YOU FAILED ME YET AGAIN, SPLIT UP!
On the breaks, it's also likely they're strecthing it to promote DOTM, showing the episodes on a nearby date to DOTM.
You do know I don't find that funny, right?
They just finished animation for episode 20 according to the new interview.
Looks like the breaks are because they're flat out still working on the animation, rushing would also explain why it's such a crappy product too.
Hub probably forced the airing to start earlier so they could have the show premiering earlier, they need Transformers name to fork in ratings considering they're just starting.
That's precisely what I was thinking as well.
I find it surprising some of you guys now think the show's boring now that it's on break when you were supporting before....
