This has been bugging me the last few days, but I can't find anything out about it, the information that I have is really vague. So vague that searching for it based on what I remember is futile. I recall this series on TV (it may have been a movie televised, or a made for TV movie, or just a single episode of a series [told you it was vague]) of a team of people who had stolen a prototype advanced spaceship (or maybe it was a car [Vague!]), and they were being pursued. The vehicle was so advanced, it could deal with any situation, all you had to do was tell it what was going on, and it would handle it. Except the problem was that it asked so many questions, the ship would be destroyed before it was given all the information necessary for it to act. As I recall, it was lighthearted, like Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, or Red Dwarf but it's such a faint, fuzzy memory, I have no idea. Heck, it may even be a dream. There's not much to go on, but anyone know what I'm talking about?

Dude! He remembered "Voyagers!"! I loved that show as a kid. Wish it was on (legal) DVDs now, along with "BJ and the Bear" and "The Adventures of Sheriff Lobo" (which was a spinoff of BJ and the Bear).
If it was based on a car and that being similer to a Dodge Viper then the program you may be looking for might be Chamelion. It was based on a car that was stolen that could change color and adapt to nearly any situation. I don't think the show lasted more than 1 or 2 eps. Sad considering this was a damn good show. It could also be a series known as Viper. It had almost the same story line except the driver was a criminal that was recruited by a team of people. Don't believe the car was initialy stolen, but at one point funding for their program was terminated so the car was hidden. And of course their was the really old one I believe was called Night Hawk that was based on one bad ass motercycle. Pretty much the same plot. It came out during the Knight Rider era.
Both shows Viper and Voyagers! were AWESOME shows. Voyagers still holds up as well today as it did back then. -Shifty

LOL. It wasn't VIPER, which I remember. I should have mentioned it was the late 70's, early 80's. I don't think it was Nighthawk either. Chamelion sounds interesting, I did a quick search, but couldn't find anything on it, anyone got a website for it?
