Next Wednesday @10 on the Science channel's show, "Sci Fi Science", they will be discussing new developments and near future concepts of creating robots that shape-shift or transform.

I'm interested to see what they come up with!

It's called 'SciFi science" because the scientist who hosts the show (Dr. Michio Kaku, one of the top physicists in the world) dissects popular macguffins, inventions, etc. used in nearly every sort of science-fiction/fantasy franchise like Star Wars or Star Trek and explains how it could actually work in the real world.

My favorite episode so far is the one on how to create a planet-buster space craft like the Death Star. It's all very possible when you put your mind to it, and also when you have a PhD in every field of science :lol
It's a really great show. I plan on picking up the books he wrote on it too in the future.

I look forward to this new episode :D

Transformers are much like zombies. They should just stay in movies/series/games. Real life Transformers would be stupid!

Yeah, because having a tool that can change it's function upon command, or a medical ATV that turns into a bipedal rescue unit for the military would be stupid! :lol

So...a military jet they can fly/bomb/shoot and can transform to a enormous robot then becoming a major essence to the ground units....that really sounds stupid
