For me, this was the best movie I watched last year. Funny, uplifting, great action. I watched it twice in the theater, and bought the Blu-Ray on Tuesday.

I had no idea, but they actually built every bot in the movie. There's a fun little video about it in the special features.

Got the Blu-ray combo pack, and they didn't say anything about Metro being real, but he probably is, knowing modern days.

Didn't they? I don't recall. I just thought they said something about building all of them.

When they showed the making of the first scene with Atom it was pure magic. I miss movies with good puppetry.

Got the BD on Tuesday, but waiting to watch it tonight with my son. Hopefully he can sit through the "boring parts" because I know he'll get the whole story if he can stay put, lol.

Does anyone know if the robot builders who made the bots in Real Steel also worked on the Transformers movie trilogy? Both Real Steel and Transformers were made by Dreamworks.

It was based off a story that became a twilight zone episode, "steel"

    Interesting to see their differences.
