Yup. I think Van Domelen mentioned that a few months back. Also, all the Seekers have F-14 canopies.

Wow... yeah, I guess that's pretty much definitely what Classics Rodimus was based on! Interesting that a car from 1978 (if I'm reading it right) still seems "futuristic" to us. :)

    Nice find.

Holy cow! Never would have thought that Rodimus was actually based on a real car! But that's definitely a dead ringer.

    Great find!

I didn't say I'd do it. I just figured someone with photoshop skills would do it. :)  Love the sig by the way.

I couldn't agree more, hence my (admittedly terrible) kitbash:

And, yeah, the Dome is absolutely Classics Rodimus. I believe DON confirmed it last year. That car would have also made a perfect Sideswipe, too bad they chose to do Rodimus.

You really are a late bloomer. :lolol

Regarding the pic, I doubt that it is the inspiration for Classics Rodimus other than reference. I think that honor goes to G1 Hot Rod.

Never seen that car before. Good find. Front almost looks like a Lambo Countach.
