I recently picked up Real Gear Zoom Out 25X and I want to turn him into Soundwave. Does anyone know where or how I can get a soundwave head that is the same scale as Zoom Out 25x?

You could look at some of various Prime heads and characters with visors and see if they're any sort of match. With a little bit of tweaking, I'm sure there's one or two heads out there in the size you're talking about that could be passed off as Soundwave.

looks like the mp3 player soundwave will be the right size, but thats expensive for just the head. try sculpting your own. it's not that hard.

may i suggest you break up all that blue with some silver. perhaps the parts that are darker grey can be silver, and the body shell blue.

For starters, don't cover the whole thing in blue. Then use an adjustment layer to tweak the levels of the parts you want to be silver.

How about somthing more like this. I still can't get those parts silver so I settled for the orginal grey color.

That would probably defeat the point. MP3 Soundwave is already a tiny G1 Soundwave who turns into a useful electronic device and I get the feeling that the guy who made this thread is trying to make something similar (though non-functional) without paying the relatively high cost to import one.

Slayer that looks awesome. Wish I could do that.

Waspinator yeah your right, besides I always thought he looked like Soundwave probly because of a pic someone drew of Soundwave as a Viedo Recorder.

If you want me to, I'll do a digibash of him in Soundwave colors for you. As for the head, I can't think of any already made that would fit him. Ti. Soundwave's might work, but I don't have either one of them, so I wouldn't be able to confirm that it would or not. Good luck, and I hope you find a head that'll work for you.

Well, here's my version of him, and what I would do if I were to do this bash. If it's ok with you, I'll also post this in my digibash commision thread too.

I just took a look at my Zoom Out and it looks like you'll have a LOT of trouble finding a suitable head that would fit. The problem is that he's essentially a Scout, so you would need a Scout-sized head if it's going to fit into the space needed for his transformation. G1 and Cybertron Soundwave's heads are way too big for it. I don't have a Machine Wars one, though, so I can't compare its size. That head's not perfect, but maybe with a little paint....
