I may get the Decepticon camera to be in my "Classics" display to be a psuedo-Reflector, but otherwise I will pass on these Real Gears like I have passed on every other one so far. The only reason I have the red mp3 player one (too lazy to look name up) is because I got it for free when Toys R' Us did there get a free Real Gear with the purchase of another Transformer promo. I will say it is pretty nice though.

 

I don't mind the recolors. Hell, this is the only line where I remember looking forward to the recolors! However, I will admit I get anooyed when a recolor is the same faction as the original. I don't need two Autobot binoculors.

.....but I'll probably buy it anyway....

Though a black repaint of Booster 10x would be nice. *gets shot*

 

And of course it's Cataclizm that finds them!!!  

 

 

would'nt the "worst weakness" of a autobot structure be the one least ideal or redundant to destroy? double negative standard.

anyway I like photon. For reasons others have mentioned he's the real modern reflector. The only thing I don't like about the paint scheme is the eyes look like their bugging out more than the original spyshot. (spyshot had red paint to obscure this)

Hasbro is milking it and people are eating it up. Put a stop to it. Stop buying the repaints and force Hasbro to make new toys. If repaints cease to make profits, they will do the right thing... I hope.

Photon looks pretty good. I like these Real Gear figures. The only problem I have is that the repaints are getting excessive. I also don't like how they made the repaint of Longview into an Autobot. I feel that if they are going to do repaints of these, they should two of each, one Autobot and one Decepticon. But that's just me.

I would rather have new molds with some G1 homages.

 

I still can't believe we haven't gotten a Ravage-esque Real Gear yet.

I mean we have Laserbeak, we have Frenzy...why not Ravage too?

 

I might pick Photon up...but the others will get a big pass. I want more new molds

Hehe I just opened him and the view-screen on the back has a picture of Movie Frenzy in a "caught in the act" pose... Sadly his gold parts are more caramel colored than gold on the actual toy.

 

I'm a guy who buys characters only from the movie. Just waiting for Deep Space Starscream now.

 

More repaints = Pass.

I like the Spyshot 6 mold, but nah.
