here is nother i just finished doing. i'm doing the same backgorunds for now, and then putting them all together that way i don't take a huge amount of time to render them all together. i'm worried my computer wont be able to handle the render time and crash

Cool. Just curious, what program are you using to make these? I've used 3dsMax in the past, but don't have it on my home computer, lol. Any suggestions of any free programs out there like this? (I've already found a decent replacement for photoshop, so there's probably something out there for this kind of stuff that's free to download).

he guys quick update, I started an alternator version of ratchet based on the movie Hummer. He will have his classics g1 collors of red, white, and not sure if i will put some black or gray on him. I should have pics of it up soon and he will join this group shot pretty soon too.

Yeah, those are pretty hott. Nice job.

I like the collision between move and cartoon ironhide's designs. Really sweet.

thanks to everyones great feedback. i'm glad you gyus like it.

nicktorious, i'm glad you liked the blend of movie and g1. my goal was to make it part of my alternators group and give them that alternator/g1/movie look. so i'm glad i achieved that.
ratchet is up next and will be joining the group soon. if you guys like ironhide, you guys will love the way ratchet looks. i even took into consideration that racthet, in the current animated cartoon, is an older bot and did something that would make him look a bit older.

A belated "nice work" from me. You've got a decent lighting setup there, and the modeling basics are down pat. Textures could use a little work (looks like you have some low-res photos that you tried Photoshopping in there), but in general get the point across.

Guys i'm anout 85% done with Alternator/movie ratchet, but i need your help with the color scheme. i was thinking about doing the car parts in white and red highlights. i was wondering if i should do the arms and legs red, black, or grey with white shoulders, forearms, helmet, calves, and groin. please tell me what you guys think the color scheme should be
