What originally G1 molds have also been used as a part of other TF series? For example in RiD they used the Combaticons to make the Decepticon Ruination team. And they also used the G2 Optimus Prime mold to make Scourge, and the G1 Fortress Maximus to make Brave Maximus (in Japan).

Did they do this with other g1 molds as well?

I recall seing Sluglinger in energon and it looked very close to the original, but is it the same mold? Same question about the Dreadwing exclusive.

What G1 molds have been re-used to make toys in other Transformers lines and what was the new series' toy called?

Hopefully we can put a list together. ;)

Slugslinger and Dreadwing were definitely NOT reused G1 molds.

A few European late G1/pre-G2 molds were released later in the US under the "Machine Wars" banner - the Stalker and Skyquake molds being reused again in TF:Universe, and some Japanese-exclusive molds, like Deszaras and Sky Garry, were folded over into the Yuusha/Brave toyline(s)

G1 Prime, Jazz, Inferno, Sideswipe, Starscream, Ramjet, Grimlock, Slag, Snarl, Bumblebee, Seaspray, Beachcomber, Hubcap, Bruticus and Superion were all released in G2, although many of them had minor retooling (Jazz and Sideswipe had holes in their roof for missile launchers, Inferno lost his wrist launchers and the Seeker mould gained pegs on the waist and legs to hold the soundbox). I believe Bruticus got some retooling improvements as well, and it was this version of the mould that was released as Ruination in RiD.

Thunder Clash, Skyquake, Rotorstorm and Stalker were redecoed (and in TC's case retooled) for Machine Wars as Prime, Starscream, Sandstorm and Soundwave respectively. Later the Rotorstorm and Stalker moulds were used again in Universe for Whirl and Soundwave, and Skyquake as King Atlas.

And Fort Max was reused as Brave Max, and in Car Robots.

Energon Slugslinger is an entirely new mould, and not much like G1 at all; Botcon Dreadwind is a retool of Classics Jetfire (same mould with a new head).

Also, In the G-2 Line and in a few lines after... here and in Japan The Dreadwing/Smokescreen Mold has been used a lot as well and untill recently the last time is was used was in the Robot Masters Line (Which also was a direct copy of the scrapped Megatron/Starscream version of the Set)

Universe 25th anniversary g1 series Perceptor, Insecticons, Optimus Prime, and Soundwave.

Their g1 molds being reused in the universe line packageing. So I think it counts as being in the universe line.

And there have been a lot of g1 bruticus repaints. I have rid ruination, Desert camo, and arctic camo.
