Hey everyone, this is a re-post of Jet-fire combo. My intention is to make a "1 page only guide" without interruptions or comments. I been busy and was unable to re-post it if you're wondering why the old thread has no pictures. Well here it is again.

This took awhile, but I bought a ROTF Leaderclass Jetfire and disassemble it. I reassemble all his parts for the purpose of a super pack kit for ROTF Leaderclass Prime, making Prime fully fuctional as a toy.

But as for Jetfire, he's just parts and armor now. His purpose is to only act as a power-up-kit and he's no longer capable of transforming from robot to plane.

No modifications were done. Everything is simply re-arranged. I was just looking for a way to copy the concept power-up-Prime w/out major mods, or using different parts from other transformers or plane models.

    Backpack and shoulders.

DOn't forget 3 layers of superglue on the ball joint / ankles of primes feet for the sturdy support of heavy upper body.

Very cool and very helpful. All I did was gutted him and took parts off that made him lighter. I didn't go all the way like you did but you original thread inspired me to try this.

See, now this would have been a great idea for the leader class Jetfire. To combine the 2 toys into Jet-Prime mode, Jetfire should have been able to come apart into various sections of armor that could then be attached to Prime, instead of him just one solid figure re-arranged and forced to work around another figure.

In the film, Jetfire becomes many separate armor sections that all fit on Prime in various places.

That's how it's done in the movie, that's how it should have been done with the toy.

    Excellent work btw.

hmm, maybe somebody could make jetfire partform into armor , but still be able to transform.
