Do you think it is possible?
I would go nuts if this happened.
How would people feel to see this badboy brought back.
I know it would be terrible for some people who are charging out the anus for parts.
But ya...I would jump, skip and dance.

Not to burst your bubble, but it is really unlikely this will happen. ( I want one too...) Unless there is a major redesign of Fort Max, it will never pass the drop test. That's why we didn't get on for R.I.D., even though Hasbro planned it. I know lots of board members want this to happen, but it seems like a pipe dream more than anything else right now.....

    Sorry....

Also, Fort Max is way too big. I mean look at Devastator. Face it, he's going nowhere, and Fort Max is both bigger and, let's face it, even more of a brick.

Now, I would love to see a reissue Fort Max, and there are sure to be a decent amount of collectors who would as well, but that isn't nearly enough people for Hasbro to profit from this.

While I would like to see it come back one day I know that day will never come. For the drop test, cost (on both sides), and just general impracticality of a toy like Fort Max it really is a product of it's era and will likely never see any light of day again.

Like I have said before the most we can hope for as fans would be a smaller homage figure in classics/universe as either a new smaller mold or a repaint of Armada Overload (It's a headmaster and it can connect with armada primes base, plus the big blocky robot mode. Seems like it could work...)

My poor little dream has been squashed. Stupid pile of crap lawsuit happy americans.

Well maybe Takara will re-issue it and I can still pay less than what things are going for.

Back in 2003, when the Aussie dollar was worthless, yet the prices for the Korean Sonokong Car Robots release of Brave Maximus was low, I spent $400AU or more importing one from the good guys at Big Bad Toy Store (cost of toy + shipping).

I kind of regret it, since it's not very fun to have around, and takes a while to dust.

you don't pay attention do you.....it isn't economically phesible for takara to do....look at the price of large encore figures and also the price of the masterpieces.....fort max would cost an arm and a leg, a chance takara can't take

I don't think movie devastator is a valid comparison. The movie devastator is a total pile of crap in every aspect. There is nothing even remotley appealing to it.
Fort Max is a collector's wet dream. If it could somehow pass the safety tests (I know it wouldn't, lawsuit happy asswads have made sure of that) It could possibly be released as a collector-only type deal. Kind of how the Masterpeice line is released...or even the re-issues.

I pay very close attention. Toys released in Japan are always more expensive. And are generally more widely accepted. Considering that there is much less cost involved in such a simplistic design as Fort Max. I don't think the investment would be as bad as you think.

Stop trying to kill my dream and go kick a puppy or something.

i ain't trying to kill your dream, i would love a fort max reissue just as much as everyone else (i want a damn cerebros), but a fort max reissue would easily go over $300, and with today's economy and stuff, that would be a disaster for takara

Looking at this from the most optimistic point of view as possible, just redesign another one with more articulation, all 3 modes, and big enough for deluxe cars.

Done. No more brick, lots of playability, everything.

Yeah, it's never gonna happen. :(

what needs to happen is hasbro retool the cybertron metroplex mold

i still don't see how he is a brick....he has elbow, leg, wrist, arm, and feet articulation, most of g1 don't even have that

I would pay $300 in a hot freaking second for a complete Fort Max.
Considering that cerebros goes for what $250 usually...(or is it spike?)
I dunno. I would really love to see the big boys re-issued, Metroplex, Scorpinok, and Fort Max.
    Didn't Omega supreme get a re-issue?
