    put in order and rate the variouse megatrons from best to worst as you see them based on appearence, strength, personality, success, etc.

    What do you mean? He's my number four. And after number five, it was who do I dislike the least. So I can safely say I like Movie Megatron, he's just not my favorite.

    I think the two biggest reasons are : 1) he submitted to The Fallen, 2) He got killed by a kid/beat up bad in RotF/killed easily in DotM.

    Basically people don't see him as badass enough.

    IDW G1 (from what I've read, which is only up to Maximum Dinobots, plus Autocratcy)

    I don't really remember much about RiD Megs, I love the toy, but don't remember the character.

    I have nothing against movie Megatron.

    Overall I find him unimpressive.

    He went from imposing (nigh unstoppable) in TFTM 07.

    Then resigned to the background in ROTF in favor of The Fallen.

    Spent most of DOTM as a second tier character in favor of Sentinel Prime.

    His only memorable moment was the closing scence when getting his head cleaved off.

    And before that choosing to stick up for himself (after being chewed out by Carly of all people).

    Showed a bit of reverence for Cybertron by claiming it was saved.

    Short of that he just stood around barking orders or firing at Autobots and humans.

    The movies generally gave little characterization (screen time) for anyone short of Optimus and Bumblebee.

    I quite like G2 (Purple) "Archforce" Megatron
    And I really dislike the ROTF Leader toy.

    I don't give a stuff enough about Megatron to try to put them all in an order though.

    As for unreleased ones of note : Marauder Megatron & Super Megatron are good.

    All of the Unicron Trilogy ones have some merit too - especially the Energon / Superlink Voyager one.

    I won't lump Beast Wars Megatron in with other Megatrons though as he's a more distinct character.

    The opinion also varies depending on if you are talking comics/toys or other Media.

    ROTF Megatron look cool as a CGI robot and a complete disaster as a toy.
