Some Day, but not today. He is appropriately HUGE and of course TOP quality, being a Macross figure. He is an example of how I am integrating some Masterpiece scale bots to enhance my "classics" line. Blaster - Device Label - 9/10 - This guy cant be faulted for not being able to hold casettes. He Can hold G1 casettes! He is a bit undersized for my taste, but not enough to bother me. Of course his alt mode is not the classic Ghetto Blaster, and that does bother me a bit so I can't give him a 10 for those two points. Otherwise he is a fine bot and can even hold his G1 weapon (sold seperately, which is a nice bonus. Eject - Perfect Effect - 9/10 - I do love the look and feel and size of these guys. The Macross Valkyrie figures do nothing for me, and the Classics/Henkei Voyager mold is too small for my needs. Awaiting the Asian Exclusive Generations Deluxe mold. Perceptor - RTS/United - 8/10 - I much prefer the RST mold with its nicer chrome accents. RTS goes into my main Bot display, while United (parts painted silver with iGear's W-01 sniper rifle and twin pistols upgrade kit) goes into my Classics Wreckers display. Red Alert - Henkei - 9/10 - Delicious chrome. Good effort with the mold's clever switcharoo engineering but the limitations are still there. The head sculpt bugs me though (doesn't look much like the character with that huge nose and low brow). Better paint (red head) than Classics. Chrome shoulder launcher by TFC Gear of War is a must. Skids - None yet. Smokescreen - Henkei - 10/10 - WAY better paint than the laughably bad Universe version. Delicious chrome. 'Nuff said. Tracks - United - 10/10 - Shiny blue metallic paint looks great and is a step above the flatter RTS version. Pretty much the spitting image of the character. Beachcomber - None yet. Reprolabels adds some neat-o touches but not totally necessary. KABLAM! Head sculpt could have been more accurate but gets the job done. Grimlock - Takara MP-08 - 10/10 - If the entire torso/chest section would clip in more securely (and possibly have the left arm light up with an LED as well), this would be sheer perfection. No included thread or chain is a downer. Scrapper - TFC - 10/10 - Bang on job with this guy. Mixmaster - TFC - 8/10 - Guns, guns, and more guns, even down to his overhead cannons. Combined mode is a little iffy and don't like how his barrel hangs loosely while he's Devy's leg. Scavenger - TFC - 7/10 - Not overly G1 accurate and a bit too brawny but not bad. Long Haul - TFC - 9/10 - Good effort and resemblance, just wish he was a little bigger. Waist ratchets are still good on mine but I have the extra parts in case of breakage. Bonecrusher - TFC - 8/10 - Shovel is a bit fiddly and doesn't like to hold very well in alt mode. Color is a bit off in combined mode.
