I have been customizing my ratchet and ironhide and I've made some improving modifacations

The pieces on Ironhide are not glued but screwed in.

Ratchet took all day to get the wheels on.
And there pins are replaced with screws.

All the parts were from 1/24 X-Mods

I think they are better but tell me what you think.

Upload your pictures to www.imageshack.us or www.photobucket.com

Post the url of the image in [ IMG ] [ /IMG ] tags (without the spaces)

They sound like good ideas, but I'd like to see them before I judge them.

Those tires look bad ass on Ratchet, same goes for Ironhide. Was this from an xmods accessory kit or from the full car kit?

Dremels are the best to use. Just patience is useful

Xmods are Radioshack R/c Cars that you can put new parts on.

They are really scarce now at RadioShack so try looking for model tires that are the right size.

The Smokestacks on iron hide are made from a rollbar that was just sitting around

My store has a decent stock of them. I have a couple of regular cars at home I was just wondering if you bought them as a set of wheels or with the RC car and everything.

Yeah Mine were the off-road set for the trucks with 4 tires and a fourwhee drive kit I think?
Or it was just the tires but they are the only off-road tires for the X-mods
    Maybe about $10-$15

That looks awesome, especially Ironhide's stacks. Rachet's wheels are very fitting, too.
