Hope this is the right area for me to post this, but recently I got "RATCHET'S ALL SPARK BLASTER" which is a load of fun except for one annoying thing. Unlike in the pictures the blaster nozzle points slightly upward when fully transformed. I was wondering if anyone can help me figure out a fix so it points out straight forward? Big Thanks
sounds to me like there's an obstruction. This could most likely be simply a small nub of plastic that's keeping the barrel from sitting flush, and thus pointing straight forward. Its not uncommon for there to be an imperfection in something that is mass-produced. If this is the case, just inspect areas that the barrel touches, and if you find one, simply take a knife and trim the sliver off.
Thanks for the help Redline. I took it apart slightly tonight and found out that apparently the way it's built is actually the problem. Something with the gears and positioning. If it was to rest the way it is advertised, straight out, it would not fully transform back into "laser mode." So apparently, Hasbro opted for a cheap gimmick they can easily sell as opposed to a well made toy...oh well
Maybe you should exchange it. I'd say that the odds would be pretty good that the replacement wouldnt' have the same problem.
Nah, I looked at a bunch of them at a nearby walmart today and they're exactly the same as mine in the box...oh well thanks for your help tho
