I've seen those in person; we were showed them on the Hasbro tour at Botcon 2007. IIRC according to Eric Siebenaler, the 2 big ones were made by an intern, and they don't actually transform fully. Look closely, and you'll spot parts from various different Transformers. The smaller one is a kitbash from Alt Hound.
yeah, i totally could tell they were kitbashed, but you can really look at them and see the potential the line could have had. ..but ya can also see why they probably bailed, the level of complexity, size and pricepoint would probably be out of reach....
Special Edition Binaltech Meister, custom designed color scheme repaint by Mayuko Iwasa (some japanese singer/actress that Takara was linked to at the time). She also signed the hood, it later was auctioned for over 350000 Yen (about 3500 bucks) and the money went to a local orphan charity. Only ONE was made.

Thats a nice peice cz, the only thing i dont like with it is the neck piece connected to the tongue squirter should of been chromed too! but is left grey. That or they should of painted it black or something.
On the jet: - Feet - Energon Jetfire - Hands - Armada Unicron - Head - G1 Bruticus gestalt head - I think the lower legs might belong to A-Unicron too, but not 100% sure.
