Wish I could afford it now. http://cgi.ebay.com/vintage-G1-Takara-Transformers-Zaru-C-124-Cassette-MIB_W0QQitemZ250069463118QQihZ015QQcategoryZ4694QQcmdZViewItem
http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d21/amspictures/PICT0043.jpg I've since sold one set of these that was MIB, but kept the MISB set. In my opinion, unless you're a completionist like me, there's no way these are worth the prices they command. The concept is awesome, but the execution is poor; only vaguely do they actually resemble dinosaurs, and the combined modes are laughable. Still, a cool little piece of TF history.
On the one hand, I want the bootleggers to do these guys so I can get a set. On the other hand, that would cut a few peoples' net worth by about half a grand, which would be evil.
Tempting... but I'm just not into spending that much on a single figure any more unless it's a rare Rodimus thing. And $300 for his shining Magnus, holy cow.
That's for sure. Same goes even with the US tapes, cant bring myself to spend so much on something thats so small despite how cool they are.
they combine but truthfully they look like shit, and hardly depict dinosaurs, but they are rare as hell and the price he's asking for-yeah he'll get some bids.
Shit, you know what I just remembered? I HAD bootlegs of one of these. The pterodactyl. I was selling 'em at transformerscon last year. Only had the three, and they went fast.
Nope, original size. Same colours, good plastic. They were first-runs from the factory, I believe. They came without stickers or packaging of any kind. So you may still see these later on.
