ugh good luck but i can't stand it when sellers put "reserve not met" in their auctions. you know it is going to make big bucks, that stuff just discourages bidding wars, which really drive the price up

I believe more than 10 existed as a member on here said Hasbro was selling this figure along with a TM2 blue optimus minor through their website for quite some time. If so I would assume alot more exist than 10. Nice figure though and best of luck on your sale!

Incorrect. Hasbro sold it at their employees only on-site store in RI. In terms of online stores, HasbroToyShop didn't show up until a few years ago and before that there was a short lived Hasbro website whose Transformers section only sold some Japanese packaged Beast Wars Neo stuff to the American populace.

I stand corrected then! Sorry for the confusion. But I still did hear that quite a bit of both figures were sold and are out there. I'm not saying thousands of each figure, but I was told quite a few.

I want to be the person to get it and ask the seller to just send the toy, and not to bother about the packaging.

After discussing this with others, it seems it really IS worth that price since only four or so were ever found. Variant, oh-em-gee.

Funny little anecdote: Someone I know on Twitter saw me talking about this and was outraged. He remembered getting a green Ramulus for his birthday years ago, and returned it since he liked the original better. He's probably kicking himself for it now.

But yeah, crazy. The eBay seller must be feeling pretty proud. :)

we already got a thread on this in the ebay section made by the seller.....i still believe it is a jerkish move when people put reserves on auctions, and apparantly his is pretty high. all this does is discourages bidding wars, and those are what drive the price up

It's a shitty economy & a buyers market. Have you seen how low stuff has been selling for on ebay? I won't sell on ebay anymore because I don't get the bids I used to. Can't even get your money back on most stuff, and with the ridiculous fees you end up taking a huge loss. With a reserve, if the bidders wanna be cheap asses, at least you're not forced to give your stuff away for nothin.

My only issue with reserves is, why not make the starting bid that price? Instead of a pointless waste of time with trying to work out what the lowest can be
