Never heard of him. I don't listen to rap music. You see,

The kids, they listen to the rap
which gives them the brain damage
    You see?
With their Hippin' and their hoppin'
And their Bippin' and their Boppin'
So they don't know what the jazz is all about!
    You see?

    Jazz is like Jello Pudding
    No!
Actually it's more like kodak film
    No!
Actually Jazz is like the new Coke
    It will be around forever
    Ha ha ha

Show some class. This was somebody's husband and a father. If you never heard of the guy or don't care about his death then just ignore this thread and move on. This isn't a thread to vent your soapbox against rap music. Some of us were fans of the man's music. I was listening to his music since 1992.

Not big into rap, but he is from my hometown of Bessemer, Al.

EDIT: He had family in Bessemer. My bad. I guess he was over here alot. Anyway, alot of the staff here at the hotel knew him, so I got my info messed up.

Cmon, if someone didnt have class enough to go beyond naming himself "pimp c", then why should more be expected from others?

Yeah, Chad was from Port Arthur, Texas, but had a lot of family and friends in AL. I knew the man. I interviewed him once for a rap zine I worked for a few years back. He was as cool as one can be. He was very talented at what he did, and he actually was very smart and articulate. He will be missed. R.I.P. Chad "Pimp C" Butler a.k.a Tony Snow.

Are you really that pathetic that you don't have anything better to do than to start flamebaiting in a thread about someone's tragic death...because you don't like his stage name?

So, you're essentially admitting you're classless? Nice.

Techinically it is Bill Cosby as portrayed on the Simpson's soapbox. Perhaps a well placed "RIP Pimp C" might have taken the edge off the joke.

    And RIP Pimp.

This isn't the right thread to be stating opinions about rap music.
    Knock it off please.
