One day the title will say "Rane's Prime Collection"...whenver I get around to it.

I don't really have any pics of my other collection pieces, sorry. But I thought ppl would like to see some recent pictures I took of my MISB Fort Max, since it is a rare sight.

    Enjoy

color me envious. Just an absolute beautiful piece of TF history you got there. $90 back in '87 = what....$200-$250 now? Anyways, thanks for sharing! :D

    ......

I wasn't talking about what a MISB Fort Max is worth now.

I was talking about what that $90 would be priced at in today's dollars, if they were to release it now.

You bring up a very good point. What would be the price point of a toy the size of Fort max in today's market, some 20 odd years later. 20th (1st release) was $80, initially right?

So I'd say FM would have to be at least $200-$250 easily.

We are talking about what $90 would be now, if they released it now. Like, how much would it be with inflation and all that.

I wonder if it still has that plasticy, new transformer smell. I wonder what being sealed away from light for over 20 years does. Perhaps it has become self aware...I'd store that in your closet at night if I were you.

Now that you mention it, I have been hearing this strange knocking sound lately since I've pulled the box out for the pictures :p

I was thinking of taking FM back to TRU and setting him on the shelf (next to the other TFs), just to get that feeling of nastalgia again. :D
