So, normally I can catch onto memes fairly quickly, but what is up with the whole Scourge -/= Nemesis Prime one now? I know that, depending on what source they may/may not be the same creation, but I assume something is fueling the resurgence in the topic?

Scourge (Black Convoy) was a repaint of G2 Laser Prime.
Now we have a new version of that in the form of the RTS G2 Laser Prime. People know we are going to get it recolored to the evil Prime colors one way or another. It's just a matter of the name. Scourge isn't an Evil Optimus Prime. He is a Blend of Megatron, Prime, a human and the tanker which was scanned for his alt form. Making him one of the most unique and interesting characters to this day. Most of us just want him to have the respect he deserves.
