I made some heads for my army. I couldn't stand looking at them all looking the same.





basically, you cut off the face keeping the light piping and the shape of the wreck-gar head. make sure to chop off wreck gars red eyes and be careful not to break the antenaes. (although broken antennaes can also be cool to make em' look different from each other. take some of your spare heads from other bots or broken ones then chop it off in half then glue. if you want you can even keep the original colours if you like.

i don't have names for mine yet though but whatever they are just the random ones anyway. the more random the better the junkion looks. plus you get to keep the light piping. you can also reuse the handle bars that have broken off to make them look different from each other. i might paint these as i go.

I love the new heads... they work really well for a motley crew of Junkions. I hope you're going to paint them all up a bit differently too... AND dirty them up a bit! They look way too clean and pristine as they are!

lol! my buddy just gave me some left styrene from his kitbash fodder. i might actually make some that look like the cartoon then sell them. kidding. seriously when i get time to do it might do make some.

i accidentally dirtied up one. i painted the one on the right. the head reminds me so much of plowking's awesome beard. no offense meant to the guy but i love that beard. being asian i can't grow any but i had i'd would go for one like his.

i tried painting it but failed cleaned up and ended up with a dirtied up head with a green beard. i'm actually fine with it. it looks like it was detailed with panel lining now. LOL!

i have five jazzes no worries. the visor with the green dude with the beard was also from jazz, alternator jazz to be exact. it was in kitbash fodder for almost 4 years now.

 

I actually meant that you should paint up and weather all your Junkions, not just the heads. I think they'd look pretty badass with some dirt and rust and metallics and darker colours and stuff.  

 

I really am going to have to find a second Wreckgar now, I only have one and one of his antenna was broken in the bubble

Maybe you can find a quick assembly-line method for weathering the Junkions? Sort of like "dipping" in the miniature wargaming community. Dip each one in liquid furniture stain, and that should give them that "rotting in a junkyard for centuries" look.  

I wonder... has anybody ever tried "dipping" on TF customs? Would be durable enough?
