Why does classics Ramjet have different nullrays then the other coneheads?

Are you asking *if* or *why?*

    If; Yes

Why: Because they were going a different direction than the one they later took for Thurst and Dirge.

Well Ramjet had the bombs in G1 while Thrust had modified Null Rays.

Thrust and Dirge's G1 Guns more closely resemble Starscream's null-rays than Ramjet's cluster bombs. That simple.

Because Ramjet doesn't have null rays. He has cluster bombs.

I think a better question would be why is Thrust the only Conehead that has null rays like the original 3 seekers?

IOW, how has this entire conversation neglected the fact that Dirge's "projectiles" were completely different as well? Poor Dirge :(

I was actually about to say, "I thought Dirge's were different too." But Dirge gets no love from me. He got a reissue. Where's Thrust and Ramjet?! LOL All they got were the convention exclusive reissues... :(

Not true, Thrust was released as part of teh Generations line right before Dirge. Really the only one that was never individually and massed released is Skywarp.

That said a LOT of people missed out on Ramjet as well as it was released 1) a long time ago and 2) in a deco that ins't as G1-ish as the others.

(And I need to take another look at my Generations Dirge's missiles it seems.)

Edit: And Thrust is sooooooo awesome. Prolly my favorite deco in the line, closely followed by TC.

Pretty sure he means G1. I think Dirge was the only conehead to get a reissue in the Commemorative series.

Yes. I was talking about the G1 reissues. I thought we were talking G1 anyhow....I apologize if we weren't! Yeah I have the "classics" seekers. Love them all!! Just don't have SW.

Ramjet's bombs are based on the original toy, the BotCon Thrust and Dirge use these too. The Generations ones (and Gentei) used the smaller Starscream missiles for cartoon (and toy) accuracy.

I've always wanted a set of Ramjet Missiles (bombs, w/e) in black for Dirge, just to differentiate the two of them from the other classics-verse seekers.

I think it's because, as already stated, G1 Ramjet has huge ass bombs (whereas Thrust had projectile things that were similar to the other seekers, I think, and Dirge had awesome new guns; I actually switched my Generations Dirge's guns with the G1 ones).
