That's sweet for me. I've been an Elite for a year. Of course, that means nothing, because I barely even play it anymore.
If graphics mean so much to you then why don't you mod a PC and play Crysis? Or just play Gears of War all the time since its still (imo) the best looking game on the 360. Didn't you say you played Battlefield 2? It certainly was not the best looking game of its time. Graphics aren't everything Paul.
Are you serious? Games these days have standards. Music, Graphics, Writing, Story and Voice Acting are integral parts of what makes a game. Seeing as how this is a next gen console, capable of performances greatly surpassing the previous generation, why is it that the multiplayer graphics seem to resemble those from the original Xbox? Why the fuck did I buy a next gen console if I get this lackluster quality and effort? It seems that every other game can emulate single player graphics in multiplayer, so why is Vegas different? Tell me.
The game is from 2006 Paul. Not 2007. At the time the only game better looking then it was GOW. Also Rainbow Six has never been exactly the best when it comes to graphics. Still though the game does look good. We've just been spoiled by another military shooter so of course it looks like garbage after playing that. Also remeber, unlike CoD 4, R6:V is loading customized characters into the game. Tell me of any multiplayer FPS with custom characters that holds up to your "standards".
Frontline doesn't look anything near as good as CoD4 or GoW, but it's still just as fun. Fancy graphics are nice, but they aren't the most important part of the game.
Because an entirely different team did it. Because it was a close to launch title. Because it was drawing and handling more than the single player game. All that matters is that it was fun, which it was, in spades.
It was fun. I can't argue with that. Terrorist Hunt is still my favorite mode. I hope it's back in R6:2
Not for nothing Gnaw (and no offence ment) but were'nt you the one who was bitching and moaning about us talking about R6 in the Cod4 thread and saying how you did not want to hear(read?) it. So then may I ask why are you coming in to the R6: V2 thread just to bitch and say how much you hated the first? I mean you can't think V2 is going to look like V1 graphics wise.
I don't think he has seen any of the new vids. The multi looks way better then the first Vegas's SP and from what I've seen, is on par with the 2nd's SP.
Having seen the vids for V2 I know it looks worlds better than R6:V. I just can't figure out why Gnaw seems to hate the new one too.
ARGH. Unless this whole damn "Open Tray" error crap fixes itself by the end of today you can count me out on Day 1.
I shall definitely join the ranks of th R6:V2 party. I pre-ordered and pre-paid for it today at GameStop. Hopefully I won't work too late or be too tired Tuesday afternoon (when they're supposed to start selling) to run over and pick up my copy.
