Nah, I don´t think they will kill a leading member of the GLC comic.

Daredevil and Kyle should just quit trying to have relationships. between the two of them, we have more female deaths in comics. I wonder who has more.

Anyway, read the newest GLC and I think they are putting together Blackest Night very well. BL is coming about due to the measures the Guardians are taking to ensure it doesn't happen. The love between Kyle and Natu will probably force them into other Corps. Kyle with Blue and Natu with Saphire would be my guess. I really liked the last page with the rings flying back. Should be interesting to see what happens.

 

Just like how they wouldn't kill of the leading character of the Batman comic?

 

Touché. But then again, I trust Geoff way more that Morrison.

 

And another thing. There´s a possibilty that Natu IS Sinestro´s daughter. That would play in her favour regarding her survival. Who would kill the daughter of Sinestro?

 

I imagine there's a really long line of people who'd love to do just that.

I think the far greater spoiler is that Hal gets a new power ring. Maybe he really does become a Blue Lantern?

Highlight the rest of his sentence for the spoiler...hopefully, its only a temporary thing for Hal during the Blackest Night Saga.

 

By the end of either the corps war or blackest night, I'm expecting all senior green lanterns to have multiple rings. The way they seem to be heading with this, is that the 6 emotion-based rings influence the user, while green is able to keep them in check. Thus bringing balance.

I'm also convinced that Kyle will get a bunch of rings. They still act like he's special in some way.

 

Fuuuuuuuck. That's gonna rule.

 

I just noticed something about his cape. It's shaped like a hand. That's so cool.

Yep, I was right about the second Black Lantern.

 

I think I will have to break my "only read the trade" rule for this series. No way can I wait that long. I'm loving the Black Lanterns so far.

 

Se this is what happens when you build up a storyline. Some of this has been hinted at since JSA and JLA first issues of the new series. The build up is far better than any crappy crossover.
