I just got prime last week gonna return him save more movie and get that beauty that is takaratomy buster optimus prime :d

 

prime looks awesome, im just not digging the head without a faceplate. bumblebee looks like hes carrying baby carlos around.

 

Buster Prime....

The colors and details are gorgeous.
The gun is incredible.
The lack of a faceplate ruined it for me.

Ah well.  

 

I will give credit for prime having a nice gun and silver paint but I'd like him more with the normal face.

BB is just cool it just kills me that I know I will want to get another for CliffJumper

 

I love how we have fans who will moan over the lack of a faceplate on Prime, but also bitch anout BB's robo-gut. Even though BB having a gut is actually fairly G1.  

Looking at Buster Prime, it actually makes me wonder if they'll end up doing anything special to the rotf Leader Megatron?

 

The Alternity Prime and Megs look sweet!!! BB, doesn't look so good.

 

And Galvatron?

 

No one's bitching about the faceplate. We've commented that we'd like a removable plate. Big difference.

But yeah, I am starting to get a bit trolly, so sorry about that. It's just the whole nit-picking over "faceplate not mouth!" can get to me sometimes.  

 

Oh man please let that be the final of Buster Prime. I really really would love to have him. He looks really good.

Cybertron Galvatron wasnt chromed. it was a highly reflective silver paint.

 

wow, if that is the final paint ap on buster prime. i think i might have to import.

 

Gotta say, Buster prime looks pretty fucking good. Personally, I'm not gonna spend the money on it since I'm happy enough with the one I have, but if that's what he's gonna look like then the importers are not going to be disappointed.

 

I might still import the figure and just swap heads. Because from the neck down, AWESOME.

 

Takara makes better shit. Pardon my french but there is no nicer way to say it. I read some of the comments about the mouth plate. I wish there was a way to make a Prime like the Animated where it could retract. Plus the mouth plate is essential for the Jetfire/Optimus Prime combination. Interchangeable heads would be cool. Oh well if this is going to eventually be Hasbro's Premium version I'm sold.

 

Just placed my pre-order. This Prime rocks. Ideally, I'll perform a head-swap so the Jetfire combo can have a faceplate, assuming the blues are identical hues. If not, then Hasbro Prime will be the combo unit, and the Takara Prime is the standalone.
