Robot Watch has posted pics from TakaraTomy's "No Photography Allowed" display at this year's Tokyo Toy Show, giving us first looks at:

    - Resin prototypes for Alternity A-03 Bumble and Cliff

    - fully painted and detailed RA-24 Buster Optimus Prime

Also displayed were the mainline and Human Alliance "Revenge" figures.

Whoaaaah, Buster Prime looks even better than I had hoped. All those details and the nice silver make it pretty Masterpieceish.

Really glad I held out on the first release :D

Hasbro, if you make the US release look like this, I will buy it instantly.

Like how the flames finally have the movie pinstriping on them.

How is this different from someone uploading a video from Hasbro's "no photos allowed" panel? Double standards because this is Japan?

The more I look at this, the more I love it! Absolutely perfect! :rock  Definately a Masterpiece level paintjob, and that gun is just brilliant!I bet those who bought customized leader Primes for over 500 bucks are really kicking themselves as well. :lol

Not really, because more often than not there's more to a custom than just a simple paint job. Plus, even though the Buster version is a huge improvement over the Hasbro Prime, it's not perfect. There are still little details here and there that a toy company may overlook but a customizer will not.

Yeah I'm dumping my Hasbro Prime for that one for sure :D  Is it just me or did they add a few spots of chrome to him?

Holy crap... Buster OP is GORGEOUS. I have to doubt that Hasbro's will look like that, unless they make it a higher price point.

Also, I believe I see two different headsculpts on those Alternity Swifts.
