'Columbo' star Peter Falk dead at 83
I loved the Columbo movies. Peter Falk was always a class act
And he did a good job as the grandpa in Princess Bride.
I used to watch Columbo with my mom when I was much younger.
Such a great actor and Columbo was one of my favorite shows back in the day. He was also great in the Princess Bride.
I even made the above figure.
Sadly he has asked his last question, the will be no more"Just one more thing"
RIP Mr Falk
He was the last living cast member of The Great Race. I loved his performance as Max, Prof. Fate(Jack Lemmon) assistant. Thanks Mr. Falk for your great work, will miss you
Sad news indeed. Another good guy who's left us.
RIP sir, you were magnificent, and will be sorely missed.
I liked him in the movie "All the Marbles" when played a wrestling manager and I also liked in the movie "Roommates", but to me that movie was depressing.
Mr. Peter Falk.
I fucking loved the guy. His shabby sleuthing was brilliant. The whole routine was about books and covers. Haven't seen anything like it since. I think we've become that much more superficial.
Rest in Peace sir. You were awesome in the Princess Bride.
I always thought he was a great actor and I took some measure of pride from being distantly related to him. This celebrity loss really is a sad one.
I didn't even know how old he was, because they always rerun 80's Columbo episodes on TV.
Tomorrow I will watch the Princess Bride.
RIP Peter Falk!
I loved Columbo as a kid. And there was another cool movie where he was reading a story to a child. But I don't remember what that was. Have only seen that movie once.
Columbo was great, first 10 minutes you knew who the murder was, rest of the movie you tried to figure which was the glass eye.
Now all good actors pass away while time goes by
