Dang TK....man, I am so sorry to hear this. I know losing someone is tuff....I've been there....all I know is that time will make things better, and you'll always have the memories of the good times.

Take as much time as you need man....don't make any rush decisions either. I'd wait a little before parting with anything....maybe box it up, and put it away for now at the most.

I'll be praying for you and his family for strength in your time of need.

We'll be here when you're ready to come back bud.

I think you should finish it in memory of your friend, then if you choose sell it and donate the proceeds to a cancer charity, I think your friend would have liked that and it would be your way of honoring him.

That is a great idea...but if you just can't bear the thought of working on the project and thinking about him then it's your call of course to not do it.

I am sorry for your loss

    :rip  :(

My head bows in prayer for your friend. I am sorry to hear this, I know what it's like to watch a loved one battle cancer. Both my Mother and Father had cancer, thankfully both survived, and my Mom is 20+ year survivor. Your loss hurts, I know. Honor his memory, and his spirit will live within you! If you choose to finish Bruticus, great. If not, that's great too. Follow your heart!

And to Mr. James Carvalho, whom I only know through Terrorcon_King, I salute you.:rock

Heya. Sorry to hear that. And yeah. I think that maybe, once you feel better, it may be a nice gesture of memory to complete what you've initially planned to do and pass it to the family involved? Well, take care ok.

I am very sorry to hear this. I hope you will find some comfort soon. I also hope you will be able to help his family in this difficult time. My uncle, both grandfathers and one grandmother all died of cancer. So I understand.

As mundane as something like a custom is in the big picture, you might be able to do some good with it anyway. He obviously was a huge fan. You may even find some therapy in finishing it. I agree with the others that there could be a special eBay auction where the proceeds go to a cancer charity of your choice.

Very sorry to hear about your friend, man. We talked a little about a while back when you first started up on this project for him and I am one person who would love to see it finished (being a huge Bruticus fan).........BUT, I've experienced the loss of loved ones quite a bit in recent years, so I completely understand why you'd not want to complete this or see this in front of you.

Do what you need to do, bro. And hang in there, I know how tough it is to lose friends or family that mean a lot to you. Take all the time you need and I hope to see ya around.

Sorry to hear this. I know how it is, I lost one of my best friends to Leukemia a couple years ago. Pretty tough thing to deal with, you don't really expect to lose friends at 22.

I can understand wanting to take a short break away from everything, it helps. But I wouldn't suggest canceling the custom just because you won't physically be able to give it to him. Take a break, but go back to it and finish it. You planned on making it for your friend, so make it for him. That and it always helps to do something other than mope around. Sad a time as it is, you can't just let that overtake you.

And as much as I would like to buy some Unicron parts off of you, I couldn't seriously do it knowing what they were initially intended for.

That's sad news, man, but at least now he is no longer in any pain. :)  I honestly think that you should FINISH the piece, because now it will be extra-special to you! I completely understand wanting to push it aside for now, as it's too painful to work on currently. However, eventually, you'll find peace again, and will be able to continue on and finish the piece, which will forever hold a special place in your collection.

It is very regretful to hear of your loss, TK. As evidenced from this thread, you have the prayers and best wishes of your fellow Radicons. Know that I'll add mine to the mix of the many others who have posted here.

Radicons, each of you guys have demonstrated yet again how fantastic this community is. Each of you not only have chimed in to express your concerns, but you've all given TK some great advice as to how pursue forward with his life and work. I find that very commendable, insightful, and useful.

TK, I really hope you take a considerable amount of weightiness to the ideas expressed here by your fellow Radicons. I would also be in agreement with the other Radicons who have suggested that you finish the piece whenever you can. Whether you choose to sell it once it's completed (and donate the proceeds to charity) or simply keep it in your collection, I think you'll find a great amount of therapy in simply finishing up the piece. If you can't bring yourself to do it yourself, you've got a wealth of other great artists who could finish it up for you. Whatever you decide to do, I think you'll find the support from the Radicons community.
