Okay, don't freak out! Im working on a new Bludgeon kitbash project....but this time it's gonna be good! (read inbetween pics)

First of all, i am taking R.I.D Bludgeon








I'm gonna take this guy, repaint him, and give him a new head. This is what the new color scheme should look like (thanks to Ravenxl7 for the digibash), except a slightly darker green



Also, I plan to use a backpack designed by Tom_Servo from siebertron for his Bludgeon. I liked his kitbash so much, I decided to make one of my own! Thanks Tom_Servo for letting showing me your backpack design!



Bludgeon's new head is currently being made by Sculptbot! Here are some pics of the head's progress so far:





Hopefuly this will turn out looking very cool. can't wait to get started on backpack, and then repainting! This is my first time using paint and modifying/making parts (backpack). hope this turns out good! I'm welcome to any suggestions!

backpack locks like real tank top in vehicle mode instead of air pump!

 

Ahhh....I too was wondering what the new backpack was for....I was never too keen on that air pump thing either...

You'll be more than satisfied with Sculpt-bot's work....he's fantastic at what he does. I'm always pleased with what he's done for me.

Cool. It's nice to see one of my digibashes becoming an actual kitbash, lol. I realy like the head that's being made for it too. If I can, I might buy one too. It would make my 2-pack Megs into Bludgeon a lot better, lol, though I'm not sure if it would fit on the mold easy or not.

 

OOOOOOOH,I like where this kitbash is going.

I'm going to the Hardware store and Hobyshop tomorrow to get materials, paints, etc. Should make great progress by Friday, but will keep you posted with progress

 

hmmmmm...just realized that im not shure if Sculptbot's head will fold in correctly when transformed.....I pm'ed him and im crossing my fingers that this will turn out okay...

Here is What HIS (TOM_SERVO's) Backpack looks like.....Im trying to base mine off of this

 

Oh yeah that will look a lot better than the air pump thingy on the back.....

And Tom Servo's head mod looks killer too!...kinda cool how he made the "crest" rotate around so it would fit in tank mode.

So, hows your version coming along?....

the darker colors on the legs and chest are actually purple, and it looks good

 

Not bad. I like the shad of green that you've chosen for him. Keep up the good work.

 

Looks pretty neat so far, man. Can't wait to see him completed! The sculpt-bot head is really going to add a signature touch to him.

Thinking of adding any leg articulation?

 

Im not sure, I think I'll wait a couple days, put him back together and see if I like it... here is a clearer pic
