I from time to time see G1 TFs boxed on ebay at insanely low prices listed as being in China.

    How is that possible?

I mean it just seems too good to be true to find a boxed G1 Scourge for like $30?

Has anybody bought these before? Is there any differance from US releases, pitfalls I should be aware of, etc?

    Thanks!

Malach is spot on there have been quite a number of Chinese G1 Kos in look alike boxes and they occasionally show up on ebay being sold as legit in an attempt to rip people off.

There are legit remakes but the are well marked

Yeah DEFINITELY KOs. I get sick and tired of seeing them during searches. Moreso when there is a guy (or guys) flogging the same KO rubbish in the UK as well - sadly they are only vaguely implied that they are not real and it's so sad to see people bidding large sums on these in the belief that they are real.

If you search around this site you will find several helpful guides to show you what is real and what isn't. Generally though, if it seems too good to be true...it is.

Prices for boxed G1s is through the roof at the moment.
