Quick question about Generations Wheeljack...

    ...at this level of design I don't feel retool is appropriate. Both toys were developed together and to represent different characters. I dont think it's fair to give one authority over the other.

    The roof moves so there's any kind of forward clearance for the legs.

    We had a Takara interview a few months ago that explicitly stated that Takara was designing the Wheeljack fig by itself originally, and then Hasbro requested that there be separate toolings for Tracks later.

    "They" being Takara designers.
    No, Wheeljack was designed and Hasbro wanted a Tracks out of it. So they worked a retool into the design.
    It's in the Generations 2011 book.
