The DVD is with the Megatron and Optimus 2-pack, no DVD with Magnus/Skywarp, it's a big enough bargain as it is.

The DVD will be Gary Chalk narrating over clips of Optimus and Megatron battling in Armada, Energon, and Cybertron, explaining the history of Transformers, how they choose Alt modes, etc. Basically a 22 minute refresher course.

Huh... thanks. That's just a strange choice. Chalk is awesome... and he has been around for the 2nd half of the TF history but still... odd choice.

They probably wanted Peter Cullen but since they could only get clips from the last three series, and since Cullen is locked in contract with Paramount, I think it's the best they could do.

odd seeing how the Armada verse is in NO WAY connected to Classics what-so-ever.

It's not using their universe, it's just... all the footage they had.

interesting choice for the DVD. I liek it. But I would've preferred them releasing More Than Meets the Eye parts 1-3 on it.

Nah, they said Scramble City is going to be included with the re-release of the original animated movie... which means I now have even more reason to own a second DVD copy of it.

That recap DVD actually sounds pretty neat. I wouldn't mind checking that out. Does it have a summary of Armada, Energon and Cybertron as well?

I'll give you a recap right here:

Armada - Most Awesomely Animated TF fight with a brutal, Matrix-less Prime beating the crap out of Galvatron.

Energon - Alot of growing larger and grunting. And little else.

    Cybertron - GIMMICK NAME, CATCHPHRASE!
