Hey gang, saw one on clearance today for $32. Box is in great shape, though I open mine.

I have been on the fence about Supreme TFA Prime since he came out, mostly for cost reasons.

Does the figure justify 32 beans?

    Thanks for the help!:thumbs2:

TRU has him on sale this week for $25. Seems better than $30-something.

    Fo Sho!

Yeah, he's not the most detailed. I'll most likely use hime as a base for a custom so I'm more concerned about poability. Is he articulated well?

Either way, you guys saved me 32 bucks as of now. I'll check TRU and maybe make an impulse buy!

    Thanks!!

If you want him I've got one to trade, I'd be willing to go pretty light on trading.
    (Like a deluxe even...)

And katch... they're ALL kids toys.

Got him for my son for Xmas. Paid $20 for it on Amazon. Wasn't really worth it, even at that price. He would still rather play with my Voyager Prime.

Yea, $25 at TRU, and was $21 at KMart last week (don't think their sale is still going). I probably wouldn't go over $25, but I don't think he makes a bad center piece for an animated display. I don't think his play value is probably that great, but I don't play with them anyhow, so that doesn't matter much.

His Leg articulation isn't terrible, but his arms are both on some wierd spring loaded things so they arn't that easy to get good poses out of. Pure display piece or piece to give to a kid to drop on his feet, but if on sale, not terrible. I paid $25 for mine a few months back, and thought it was worth it.

I wouldn't pay the price of a legends figure for him.

I paid $20 for him on clearance at a Walmart a month ago. I'm not very impressed by him, as he's pretty much an over-sized Voyager figure w/ sounds & lights.

He lacks quite a bit of the posabilty the Voyager figure has. You can't turn his head, move the mouthplate down to expose his face. The arms lose a lot of posability due to the 'punching' effects, so you're really only able to pose his right arm straight down or bent forward 90* (his left arm is bent at 90* so you can activate his 'punching' gimmick).

The only redeeming gimmicks he has are the 'rolling transformation', which is kind of neat; and his energon axe (the best representation of it from all the Animated Primes).

Then again, I wasn't that impressed by the Supreme Class Cybertron Starscream either, for the same reason (over-sized Voyager, imho). So, for the $50 pricetag? -No.
For $20? -Yes, If you enjoy the other Primes, or want to have a really big Prime (for the same price as the Voyager figure!) to have up on the display shelves.
