Since there are some people out there that complain about Prime taking faces think about it.... The death would be fast and quick! Wouldn't that make him show compassion for killing his enimies in way so that they wouldn't feel as much pain. ALSO IT BADASS WHEN HE RIPS OF FACES!

This Optimus does care for life that deserve it but when theres a fight he gets SHIT DONE

Yes, he does it quickly, but that doesn't stop it from looking agonizingly painful...

Plus, some will just never like the idea of Optimus killing. Me? I'm okay with it because it's live action attempting to depict a war, so there's gonna be carnage.

For the most part, I just care that Optimus Prime goes around ripping off faces. RotF/DotM OP is by far the best Prime in any continuity, ever( IMO).

Definatley! Especially in DOTM. Although, I did like the sympathetic Prime in TF07.

The thing I don't like is TF Prime Optimus. He's just to calm, just urks me.

You call TFP Optimus peaceful? He's tried to mercilessly kill Megatron twice, second time when Megs was already wounded.

Did I step out of a Time Machine to 2010? Seriously, every other movie thread was this and the other half was 'Optimus was a monster'.

Anyway, (treading lightly) I like that he gets things done, that he plays pragmatically, and that he shows passion. I just don't like the graphicness of his kills.

Don't have any qualms with Prime killing either, if it's during combat. If an enemy is disabled, and unable to fight back, then Optimus should give his enemies a Chance to surrender. It's a trait that set Optimus Prime apart from the brutality of Megatron, and it exhibits his wisdom and compassion as leader.

But then again I guess some people prefer their heroes to be shallow killing machines. Might makes right, I guess...

The quickest death for a race that can regenerate damage and/or reconfigure themselves to function without the damaged parts has to be as brutal as possible. As much damage at once that they can't instantly recover from it.

    "Any last words?"
