In ROTF, when The Fallen gives his televised PSA, he shows a picture of Sam along with his name. How come none of Sam's DOTM interviewers (or anyone for that matter) brought that up?

    ^Precisely.

Besides, DOTM is set four years after ROTF, it's a good while to forget [specially since the Government forgave his "crimes" when he saved the Earth].

Well there were no crimes to speak of. Just that Alien Invaders want this boy or they'll attack cities with orbital strikes.

It would seem the US government kept him mum for his own sake and theirs.

Sam did save the planet twice, which would make him a target by some anti-Autobot crazy, but he can also reveal the US government hasn't been exactly smart.

Like the US keeping a giant robot and energy cube under the basement, that there have been alien robots hiding for centuries on Earth, and giving an agency with powers that is not oversighted.

    Simmons has no such restrictions.
