    Hi guys,

Got my hands on the Iron Army set a few months back and really really digged it. I definitely felt a Bruticus/Ruination vibe coming from the dudes, so I got a WST Ruination and did a quick mod on him.

Still need to make the back-cannon mod and also give him a better gun, but for a 5 min custom, it doesn't look half bad, lol.

    Thanks for stopping by.

    Cheers,

    KO

Wow! I like it! It's interesting that the colors look spot on with Huffer's scheme.

Now... is this one of those 6 inch mini versions?

yeah, isn't that crazy how the color is a dead-on match? pretty amazed when i first saw it myself.

and yes, it's about 6 ~ 8 inches, depending on whether you count the cannon height. it's this one specifically: G1 Transformers WST KO Bruticus,Combaticons,Ruination KO (7" tall) MOSC New! | eBay (complete auction, not mine)

    cheers,

    KO

Also worth noting that other KO Gestalts in this scale could easily be used as fodder for these PCC gestalts. At least the heads, armor, and guns anyway.

Oh this is VERY clever, Huffer even makes for a decent Onslaught stand-in, would love to see him painted up that way.

This could be the (Non-existant) WWII Bodies of the Combaticons from Strascream's Brigade :)

thanks everyone for the kind words.

the mod is super easy to do.

    1. take bruticus head and chip away at the plastic inside until it fits snugly on top of huffer's head just as it would on onslaught.

    2. take a 1x4 lego piece that has 3 portholes on the side and enlarge the middle hole while padding the top hole.

the enlarged middle hole will fit the connector that comes out from huffer's chest, while the padded top hole will fit the peg that protrudes from the chest piece.

i too had a 'non-existent' WWII starscream brigade when i thought of the idea :)

    cheers,

    KO
