Of course not. Really, care to share since you seem to know oh so much? Crankcase's hands are pretty damn soft, it couldn't have been for safety reasons. And with weapon packs, well we've gotten playsets for legends sized figures out of this line, I wouldn't say they are out of the question. I really doubt that RotF didn't do as well as they'd hoped, the line was a huge success. And that doesn't really answer the question anyways.
Did we get playsets alone? No. We're not getting weapon packs alone. We get figures with lots of weapons(Recon Ironhide, Topspin) and Figures with weapons that also turn into weapons(HA scouts). A pack of nothing but weapons is not happening.
1) Will Generations return either in the fall or spring of 2012? (Like Classics/ Universe) 2) Is it possible for Generations to reissue the hard to find RTS molds and adopt other size classes (Scout, Voyager, Ultra, Leader and Supreme) for larger characters? (for, say Omega Supreme, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus) 3) Will we be seeing the Vehicon/ Eradicon drones as figures in the TF Prime line? 4) Will characters who only appeared once (Cliffjumper, Skyquake, Wheeljack, Arachnid) get the figure treatment in the Prime line?
I've got a few: -Can we expect a US release of Masterpiece Rodimus? If so, when will it be released, and where? -Can we expect a US release of Masterpiece Thundercracker? If so, when will it be released, and where? -There have been reports of the Reveal the Shield line getting canceled. Are these reports true? And if so, will any of the unreleased toys be repackaged for the Dark of the Moon toyline? -Will the Generations line continue on through 2011? If so, what characters can we expect? -Is the Power Core Combiners line finished, or will it make a comeback in the near future? -Regarding the new “Rescue Bots” line. From what we’ve seen, it seems to be primarily just Autobots and humans. Will any Decepticons make an appearance down the road? -Just throwing this out there, but would there be a possibility of reissuing G1 Galvatron? It’s clear that G1 Megatron will never see a reissue in the United States, so what about his more dangerous form? -It’s the 10th Anniversary of Robots in Disguise. Is there anything special planned (other than the TFCC Sideburn toy)? -It was said at last year’s Botcon (or San Diego Comic-Con, I can’t remember which) that Reveal the Shield Perceptor would be redecoed into Reflector. Is that still happening, or has that idea been canned? -It’s pretty obvious that when you release a Legends-sized version of a Classics Autobot, a Deluxe version is to follow. Can we expect a Generations Trailbreaker to happen at some point? Or has the release of a Deluxe Hound, Deluxe Warpath, and Deluxe Jazz been somewhat of a coincidence? -This may have been brought up numerous times, but I have to ask: what will become of the unreleased Animated toys (Blackout, Voyager Thundercracker, Fugitive Waspinator, Vortex Blurr, Mercenary Swindle, Mudbuster Bulkhead)? -Will we ever see a Classics Soundwave? I wouldn’t mind if he was a van again, like his Animated counterpart. -Speaking of Classics, Grimlock’s getting lonely. Will the other four Dinobots join him in the near future? Or is that out of the question? -With Dark of the Moon coming out, it’s obvious that Shockwave will play an important role in the movie. Will we expect a Classics rendition of our favorite one-eyed logic-loving Decepticon if the movie is successful? -Since the release of Reveal the Shield G2 Laser Optimus Prime, will there be a new G2 Megatron to follow suit? -The Human Alliance line is, in my humble opinion, one of the best sublines to come out of Transformers in recent times. Since this line is continuing into Dark of the Moon, are there plans of making Human Alliance figures for other Transformers continuities? Preferably a Human Alliance G1 Bumblebee with Spike, pretty please? -As probably the only fan who loves Seaspray (seeing as though he was one of my first Transformers toys), will there be any more Seaspray toys in the near future? Maybe a Prime Seaspray with fists that shoots lasers? You can call them “robot laser fists”! Just wishful thinking, but I can dream, can’t I? -Takara-Tomy has recently announced and shown a new mold of Masterpiece Optimus Prime. Can we expect this toy to hit the states sometime in late 2011, early 2012? -Back to Rescue Robots. It’s been said somewhere that a show will be made to air on the Hub. I take it Peter Cullen’s going to be voicing Optimus Prime once again? Or will someone else play the role, seeing as though he’s already voicing Optimus Prime in Transformers Prime?
A note for the post above: I hope they do Magnificus and not Reflector, or that Reflector is basically the Magnificus paint scheme.
I want to know why we can't handle the truth. I can already tell you guys that 9 times out of 10 the answer the most of your questions will be the same. "We're are trying our best to delivery XXX product and we do planning years in advance but we can not give you too much detail due to various reasons such as competitve, legal and things that are beyond our control such as stores" The great thing is that we have to keep asking for the 1 time out of 10 that the Hasbro designers say F it and sneak in real answers. My question would be whether they and BBTS considered the Seacons release a success or not and whether there was interest in more online exclusives through that channel.
Can anyone please ask one thing? Is Hasbro aware that there are companies out there making unofficial TF items that fans are calling 3rd party groups? If so, what are they doing about it? Sorry I had to bring up the most ******ed question that will be asked at this years, and every years BOTCON lol Real questions. Will we be seeing MP Thundercracker? Is MP Hot Rod still being released? If so any hints to what the new accessories may be? I would ask about MP10 Prime but that really is a no brainer. About Animated, it is probably too late to see releases of Wingblade Prime and Blackout and the rest. But what happened to all the figures they already popped out? Or did they make any runs of these figures for the American market?
When PRIME is inevitably cancelled after the second year, will the new series and new films be more closely related? Or will they always stand apart because confusion is so much fun?
What's the typical career path of a TF designer? Are there any toys that you found frustrating to design, or couldn't get made for whatever reason? What's the typical budget break-down for a given size class? What's the typical time between coming up with a design, and the final product reaching the shelves? Also this.
Will we ever see Season 3 of TF Animated on DVD? What about a box set of the complete series? Will there be a DOTM Leader Megatron?
