I want to collecting Energon comics, but I have a few questions.

    1. How many issues are there?

    2. Do all the non-show characters(Slugslinger, Sharkticon, Dreadwing, Tow-Line, etc.) appear in the comics?

    3. Do the Energon Combiners appear?

    4. Storywise, how is the comics? (No spoilers)

    Help would be greatly appreciated

    1. There were 12 issues, numbered 19-30 (Dreamwave continued the numbering from Armada)

    2. I think most of the non-show characters appeared, but not all of them. Some of the non-upgrade Autobot repaints even got new head designs. On a related note, the Armada characters that didn't return for Energon (Red Alert, Hoist, Thrust, etc) made appearances.

    3. No. Dreamwave went belly-up before they could be introduced.

    4. Personally, I enjoyed it and was sad to see it go (just like the G1 ongoing). The comic was a much different take on the story compared to the cartoon. It also had stronger ties to the Armada comic than the cartoons, which seemed a little loosely connected, so I recommend reading the Armada comic if you haven't already (it's better than the cartoon).
