Something that has puzzled me: In Exodus, is mentioned that Optimus sent the AllSpark to the stars in a siege of Iacon.

    Stuff that I don't understand:

1 - Wasn't Sentinel the leader of te Autobots at that time? How can Optimus launch The AllSpark in the space if Sentinel was the boss?

2 - This part also tells that he met Bumblebee met him for the first time there, but the problem is: Optimus had no idea of who the hell was Bumblebee on WFC [that is set some time later]. What?

1 - No, Optimus had been appointed Prime by the council at that time. Sentinel was still alive, imprisoned by the Decepticons, but Optimus was in charge.

2 - WFC and Exodus are just different versions of the same basic story. They don't line up in the details - I'm sure you've noticed there are plenty of other instances of that.

I love the video game but as far as that book goes......

Well author Alexander Irvine is no stickler for G1 continuity, hell he evades the continuity of his own story for that matter.

It's full a sloppy editing and poor character development so read at your own risk!

Yeah, well, it's explicitly NOT G1 continuity. It very deliberately draws on all continuities.

While I admit I hated that it brought any movie details in especially allspark garbage, the book is a good read.

When reading it, just treat it as its own and go from there.

You will ruin it for yourself if u read it trying to make sense of it in continuity of anything else Transformer related

G1 or no G1. It's still leaves more to be desired.

When you find yourself having to explain or take up for a book it's usually is not NY best seller material.

I wouldn't worry about Exodus matching up with any sort of continuity - it's pretty much an amalgam of all the other continuties. As such, it created a lot of confusion for me trying to read it.

It wasn't really bad... but it wasn't really great either.

Exodus is the begining of the Aligned continuity family, which is the new continuity that will be going on for the next couple of years. It was developed from the most popular features from the past generations. It also includes TF: Prime. The game WFC is a good fun version of part of the story, but this book is very in detail and after reading it you generally have an edge up on other fans on the backstory of Prime.
