Sorry folks, did some post searching and didn't see if this has been asked before.

Just snagged an ipod Convoy and was wondering: Does the in box power adapter work on NA power? The guy who sold it to me said that the adapter was set for asian power sources. Don't want to try it out for fear or wrecking my new former.

Thanx in advance for any help and apologies if this has been covered before.

Not sure what "NA power" is, but I've used mine in California with no problems.

Mine works fine for any iPod. However, it won't play my iPhone at all.

I don't have one, but "Asian power" (lol, sounds like a supremacy group) is 110~115(to maybe 120?) volts, so it's comparable to North American power standards, as opposed to Europe's 220 volt systems.

    It should work just fine.

How's the sound quality on those things? I've been on the fence about getting one for almost a year now. I know it's not gonna have the best sound, but if it's really bad, I'm not gonna get it just for show.

The sound is decent enough. I use mine in the bedroom. Still you should only buy it for collecting value. There are probably much better iPod docks available for the same price.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I hope it's for all. If I just ended up with a bad one I'll be upset. :lol

I'm not sure... I use it with my old Nano and new iPod. I'll test it out with my wife's iPhone tomorrow and let you know the result!
