from what I heard there is a Korean and Japanese reissue brave max C-027. Is there a difference in terms of packaging, figure itself and what it includes, and price?

Toy and contents are identical. Packaging is near identical. Korean version has the Autobot logo on the tower upside down, i believe.

Difference in price......minor, if any, i think.

Either way, the Korean one probably isn't cheap.

For the Korean (Sonokong) release of Brave Maximus, there's a sticker with an Autobot sigil on the central tower that's applied upside-down.

Otherwise, there's no difference from the Takara version.

I'm confused about the reissue part, though. The toy itself is not a reissue, it's a redeco for the Car Robots line, and has different colours from the previous G1 releases (Fortress Maximus, Grand Maximus). The Car Robots version was not reissued, either. Just the separate Japanese and Korean releases.

The figure includes no accessories, outside of its Headmaster components.

And this is a picture of the Japanese packaging (although I do own a Japanese BM, this is not it).
    Same artwork, different language blurbs.

I got mine from BBTS way back in the day when they had flat-rate shipping on everything. Think I bought it for $105+$5 shipping. Hell of a deal.

Sweet, thanks for the pics and info guys. The price for one of those now, either one, is comparable? From reading some of the comments in the rumored Fort Max reissue, some people are saying the Korean release is cheaper? Or maybe it was cheaper back then but goes pretty much same price now as the Japanese release?

    Ebay:
As I have seen it, both are about the same price. But much higher than they used to be (of course) I paid $250 for mine last year, but I have seen them upwards of $400-600 recently.

holy crap, it jumped up that much in 1 year? I do see that $400 - 500 price on Ebay but didn't think it was only $250 a year ago.

I seem to recall the price I got from BBTS on the Korean pre-order was $125. Also I am surprised about the huge price increase on ebay lately for either of them.

Two sold on ebay in early February in the $350 range if I remember right. I missed seeing both of them. Lately they seem to be back up to the $450+ range unfortunately.

Even one better I ordered a bunch of car robots stuff at the same time as the brave max and BBTS shipped them all in one of the Takara Brave Max distribution boxes (there was two brave max's per takara box).

supply and demand...a year or two ago there were droves of brave max 's on sale on ebay....right now ...not so much as before.

and that G1 version ain't getting cheaper either...unless a KO version comes out.
